Solutions
To meet the smart media business needs of Beijing Television, a GBase 8a MPP Cluster—a massively parallel distributed database cluster—was deployed to exceed expectations and deliver higher value. The system was configured with a 2x2 data node setup and a single loader node. Built on core technologies like columnar storage, adaptive compression, and smart indexing, and leveraging modern cloud MPP concepts with a shared-nothing architecture, GBase 8a MPP Cluster fully unlocks the value of vast data volumes.
By tracking user behavior, it improved product subscription rates, optimized the Electronic Program Guide (EPG), and simplified interactive TV operations.
