Tianjin Binhai New Area Public Credit Information Service Platform Localization Project
Project Overview
Project Background
The overall objective of the Tianjin Binhai New Area Public Credit Information Service Platform is to build a fundamental credit database covering all enterprises and individuals in the area, along with a credit information sharing platform. This initiative aims to advance the construction of the New Area's credit system and the mechanism for joint societal punishment of untrustworthy entities, promote the adoption of credit services, raise credit awareness, and foster a healthy social credit environment.
Key Considerations
Must support the platform's data table requirements for the next five years, encompassing at least 2,000 database tables, with individual tables capable of holding up to 10 million records, and storage for media files and large file attachments.
Supports concurrent multi-user connections and high-volume data querying, with query response times not exceeding 3 seconds. The system must not exhibit significant performance degradation as business grows, or it should be optimizable.
The database for the government information resource sharing and exchange platform needs to be secure and reliable, ensuring no data loss or corruption, and supporting uninterrupted 24/7 stable operation.
Solutions
This project established a foundational architecture consisting of a Government Information Resource Sharing Platform, a Public Credit Information Resource Sharing Platform, a Public Credit Information Database, and a Public Credit Information Service Website. GBase 8s was deployed across multiple government information systems, including the two sharing platforms, the credit database, and the systems of departments such as Market Regulation, National Tax, Local Tax, Quality Supervision, and Public Security. On the government information resource sharing platform, an SSC (Shared Disk Copy) cluster was implemented to ensure data security, reliability, and uninterrupted operation.
GBase 8s meets user requirements through superior functionality, performance, and architectural design:
Robust functionality: GBase 8s delivers petabyte-scale data processing, supports more than 65,536 tables, and handles over 10 billion rows in a single table. It provides large object types such as Blob and Clob, capable of storing media files and large files up to 4TB, satisfying all functional demands.
Exceptional performance: GBase 8s handles up to 3,000 connection queues, returns query results for up to 1 million records in under 1 second, and offers performance optimization for complex, high-volume data processing scenarios, fully meeting performance requirements.
Security and reliability: The government information resource sharing and exchange platform database utilizes an SSC dual-machine backup mechanism to prevent data loss or corruption, along with an emergency data recovery mechanism, ensuring 24/7 uninterrupted stable operation and meeting all security requirements.
Application Benefits
Meet government digitalization requirements: GBase 8s provides the stability, functionality, performance, and cluster architecture essential for government services, enabling reuse of existing hardware resources.
Comprehensive cost and service advantages: Deploying GBase 8s reduces procurement costs and plays a crucial role in sustaining the Public Credit Information Service Platform’s performance, elevating operational capabilities, and upskilling technical personnel.
Alignment with national self-reliance and security policies: Selecting GBase 8s supports China’s policy goals for secure and controllable information systems.
