GBase Showcases Its Database Series at the 3rd Tianjin Public Security Technology Innovation Expo

From July 8 to 9, 2021, the 3rd Tianjin Public Security Technology Innovation Expo grandly opened at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. As a leading Chinese database provider, GBase was invited to exhibit, showcasing multiple core products including GBase 8a and GBase 8s, attracting considerable attention from attendees.
 

The event was hosted by the Office of the Science and Technology Informatization Leading Group of the Tianjin Public Security Bureau, aiming to advance the implementation of new smart policing, fully demonstrate the achievements of technology-empowered police work, inspire the innovation vitality of police officers, and elevate the application of IT at grassroots levels.

Officials from the Ministry of Public Security and relevant municipal departments attended the opening ceremony. Several thousand attendees, including leaders from the Tianjin Public Security Bureau, various grassroots units, and IT business backbones, observed the exhibition.

The ceremony included an onboarding event for partner enterprises of the Tianjin Public Security Bureau Joint Innovation Center. As a well-known IT application innovation enterprise in Tianjin and a leading domestic database provider, GBase Senior Vice President and CTO Zhao Wei took the stage as a representative to press the launch button, together with companies such as Huawei, KylinSoft, and H3C, jointly supporting Tianjin's informatization development.

In the subsequent forum session, Zhao Wei delivered a presentation titled "Application of Domestic Databases (GBASE) in the Public Security Sector." He briefly introduced GBase's development history, customer fields, and market achievements. He then stated that, supported by national innovation policies, GBase has transformed from a "follower" to a "leader" through continuous technological accumulation and breakthroughs, and that multiple products have evolved from being merely "functional and usable" to truly "high-performance and user-friendly." These products are now widely deployed in core business domains across sectors such as public security, national defense and military industry, government, finance, and telecommunications. Zhao Wei went on to detail the business scenarios supported by GBase products in the public security sector, explaining and sharing several application cases.

During the exhibition, the products and case projects showcased by GBase attracted significant attention from attendees. As a national-level high-tech enterprise, a key software enterprise under China's national plan, and a member of the IT Application Innovation Working Committee (0048), GBase has had multiple products evaluated and certified by authoritative third-party testing organizations.

In addition to strong products and technical expertise, GBase actively participates in the national information technology application innovation initiative. Its core technologies are protected by independent intellectual property rights, and its underlying code is independently controllable. GBase has extensive project deployment and customer service experience in public security, national defense and military, government, and finance sectors. Multiple GBase products have been successfully deployed in provincial and municipal police systems, operating reliably and providing a solid technical foundation for the development of smart policing.
