Meanwhile, Senior Vice President Zhao Wei stated in his speech that GBase will continue to work hand in hand with partners, pay close attention to various industry application scenarios, persistently pursue R&D innovation, jointly build the IT application innovation ecosystem, and create value through cooperation.
Three Major Product Launches
At the launch event, GBase unveiled three flagship products in its China‑developed database portfolio. Zhang Shaoyong, General Manager of the Data Intelligence Product Division, Chen Wenting, General Manager of the Data Management Product Division, and Zhang Yi, General Manager of the GBase 8c R&D Division, introduced the new features of the mainstream distributed analytical, transactional, and distributed transactional databases respectively.
Encouragingly, GBase added further strengths to its self‑developed GBase GCDW cloud logical data warehouse. The product is evolving towards cloud‑native, realizing a cloud‑based data warehouse, while also integrating heterogeneous multi‑source data through virtual data technologies to deliver data‑lake‑like capabilities.
Keeping pace with the times, GBase launched the distributed transactional database GBase 8c. Featuring extreme elasticity, ultimate performance, and high availability, this product stands at the forefront of current database development.
Given the high consistency requirements of transactional databases and the significant technical hurdles involved, such systems are notoriously difficult to build. GBase’s traditional transactional database, GBase 8s, not only pushes high availability, high reliability, high performance and high fault tolerance to further extremes, but also makes new strides in trusted security, cost‑effectiveness and ease of maintenance.
Joint China‑Developed Database Solutions Unveiled
During the conference, GBase joined forces with more than 20 partners to present 21 joint solutions spanning finance, telecommunications, energy, transportation and other sectors. These included a financial enterprise data interconnection one‑stop China‑built solution empowered by privacy computing, a funds transfer pricing solution for the financial industry, a China‑made platform data warehouse solution for finance, a smart banking cross‑platform integrated solution, and a data lifecycle anti‑leakage solution.
