GBase Named to 2021 Industry Informatization Competitiveness Top 100 List

On September 29, the 2021 (4th) Industry Informatization Technology Innovation and Development Summit was held in Beijing. GBase was named to the "2021 Industry Informatization Competitiveness Top 100" list and received the "Best Solution Award for Largest Data Warehouse in Financial Industry Informatization 2021".

Under the theme of "Digital Intelligence Innovation, Transformation and Upgrade", the summit focused on the dual circulation economic environment and invited leaders from competent ministries, academicians and experts in engineering, and representatives from industry-leading enterprises to discuss topics such as "technological innovation, model innovation, and product innovation". The discussions aimed to promote digital industrialization and industry digitalization, deepen the integration of the digital economy with the real economy, and achieve high-quality economic development.

Driven by the continuous evolution of next-generation information technologies, and in alignment with national strategies such as "building a cyber powerhouse" and "a digital powerhouse", the highly authoritative competitiveness evaluation index system for the industry informatization sector was jointly developed by CCIDnet in collaboration with Digital Economy magazine, CCID Call, and other organizations along with renowned industry experts. After months of review, the "2021 Industry Informatization Competitiveness Top 100" list was officially released! For years, GBase has been dedicated to database software products and services. It has achieved outstanding performance and gained high recognition for its role in the informatization and digital transformation of industries including finance, telecommunications, government, energy, transportation, defense, and enterprises. GBase has also been consistently listed on the Industry Informatization Competitiveness Top 100.

With the advent of the internet and big data era, traditional banks are now facing unprecedented cross-sector challenges. As data volumes continued to grow and more systems were integrated, the original database of Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) could no longer meet the bank's internal data analysis and regulatory data requirements due to performance limitations.

To address these challenges, GBase proposed a solution for complex processing of massive data. This solution not only provides massive data management, meets regulatory requirements, enables data-driven business decisions, and supports a shift in data mindset in the banking sector, but also represents an innovative big data platform architecture. Today, GBase's distributed parallel database cluster, GBase 8a MPP Cluster, has been deployed in the big data platform project at the headquarters of Agricultural Bank of China with nearly 2,000 nodes, managing 30PB of data. It is for this achievement that GBase won the "Best Solution Award for Largest Data Warehouse in Financial Industry Informatization 2021".
