Three GBASE Solutions Selected for the Financial IT Application Innovation Ecosystem Lab — First Batch of Financial IT Application Innovation Solutions
To promote and ensure the efficient and orderly implementation of IT application innovation, the Financial IT Application Innovation Ecosystem Lab, after multiple rounds of preliminary review and expert evaluation, compiled the 'First Batch of Financial IT Application Innovation Solution List' for the financial industry, providing replicable and referenceable solutions. Three GBASE solutions (including the 'Big Data Platform Solution' jointly developed with Agricultural Bank of China, Kunpeng, and Kylin, the 'Data Warehouse Replacement Solution', and the 'Core Business System Solution Based on GBASE Database') stood out from nearly 600 entries submitted by more than 190 organizations and were successfully selected.

The 6th World Intelligence Congress opened grandly in Tianjin on June 24. The Haihe Laboratory Development Forum and Innovation Consortium Launch Conference was recently held in Tianjin. The consortium's initial members include 117 units comprising 13 universities and research institutes, 88 industry chain enterprises, 3 financial institutions, and 4 sci-tech innovation service providers. GBASE Speaks on 'Databases' — Special Training by the Innovation Application Committee of the Beijing FinTech Industry Alliance
To spread knowledge and cultivate talent in IT application innovation, the Innovation Application Committee of the Beijing FinTech Industry Alliance organized a special training on 'Fundamentals of Transactional Databases'.
The training was delivered online by Feng Wenzhong, Technical Director of GBASE Ecosystem Development Department. With over 20 years of experience in financial software development and more than a decade dedicated to IT application innovation in finance, Mr. Feng shared insights into the history of databases, an overview of China-developed transactional databases, and key considerations for database selection. Real-world case studies were used to share experiences with database IT innovation, enhancing attendees' understanding of databases.

The '2022 Technology Empowerment for Digital Finance Development in the Greater Bay Area Summit' was successfully held in Guangzhou, co-hosted by the Financial Committee of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation Promotion Association and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Financial Innovation Institute, with General Data Technology Co., Ltd. (GBASE) as co-organizer. The event brought together ICBC Software Development Center, Agricultural Bank of China R&D Center, Guangdong UnionPay, policy banks, state-owned commercial banks, joint-stock commercial banks, city commercial banks, insurance and securities institutions, and IT companies from across Guangdong, to discuss in-depth integration of finance and technology for the advancement of digital finance in the Greater Bay Area.
