GCDW Cloud-Native Data Warehouse Recognized with "2023 Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award"

On May 26, the "2023 China International Big Data Industry Expo" opened grandly in Guiyang, and on the same day, the "Leading Scientific and Technological Achievements Release Conference" was held. A total of 357 outstanding achievements from universities, research institutions, and technology companies worldwide were submitted, representing the most cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in the big data field in recent years. The "GCDW Cloud-Native Data Warehouse" was awarded the "2023 Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award".  

GCDW Cloud-Native Data Warehouse 

GCDW is a cloud-native multi-instance elastic data warehouse independently developed by GBase. GCDW supports both on-premises and cloud deployment, adopts a separate storage and compute architecture, and allows for unlimited independent scaling of compute and storage resources. It is suitable for analytical big data platforms, comprehensive BI systems, data warehouses, and data mart systems, meeting users' data warehousing needs in cloud environments. The product has passed the evaluation of "Cloud-Native Lakehouse Data Platform" organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), and its core technology won the "First Prize of Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award". 

GCDW is primarily positioned for the financial, telecommunications, government, and public cloud sectors. In 2022, GCDW passed verification tests for financial business scenarios at a large state-owned bank and for telecommunications business scenarios at the headquarters of a telecom group. In 2023, it will achieve formal commercial operations in the financial and telecommunications industries.
