As the 2022 Chinese New Year begins, General Data Technology kicks off the Year of the Tiger with its first 'GBase 8a MPP Cluster Database Certification Training.' This remains a completely free certification program, with classes starting on February 21. All database enthusiasts interested in Chinese database technology are warmly welcome to sign up!

Product Introduction

The 8a Cluster is a large-scale, distributed parallel processing database cluster independently developed by General Data Technology and a leading solution in China. It has been widely deployed across finance, telecommunications, government, defense, and enterprise sectors. The 8a Cluster has become a powerful foundation for data warehousing and decision support systems. Nearly 90% of General Data Technology product users report that it delivers superior performance and comprehensive functionality. Course Introduction

This course starts from zero basics with the 8a Cluster product, covering the principles and fundamental usage of the 8a Cluster database. The entire course is divided into two stages: learning and examination. It includes 12 days of study, two unit quizzes, and two chances for the certification exam. The training and exams are organized through an online learning platform, employing a scientifically structured approach to help participants gradually and easily master the fundamentals of Chinese database technology.

Learning Objectives:

  • Help learners understand the working principles, functional features, and deployment strategies of the 8a Cluster, and establish foundational concepts of MPP database architecture.
  • Enable learners to master the installation, management, and maintenance of the 8a Cluster database, and to troubleshoot certain cluster status anomalies.
  • Enable learners to perform data operations within a single virtual cluster database, including adding, deleting, modifying, and querying data, as well as managing and assigning user permissions and querying system tables.

  • Feb 21 – Mar 5: Learning, with one lesson unlocked per day
