GBASE GBase 8s Wins Bids from Chengdu Rural Commercial Bank and Bank of Zigong

Recently, General Data Technology Co., Ltd. (known as GBASE) ’s shared‑storage database cluster GBase 8s has successively won the bids for the Chengdu Rural Commercial Bank’s smart office and new email system supporting basic software procurement project, as well as the Bank of Zigong Co., Ltd.’s basic software and service procurement project. The GBase 8s database will be deployed in the general business systems of both banks, supporting their IT infrastructure development.

The shared‑storage database cluster GBase 8s is a self‑developed, mature, and stable database product from GBASE. It has achieved Security Database Level 4 (equivalent to International B2), supports national cryptographic algorithms, and complies with international database standards and development interfaces. It supports centralized deployment, shared‑storage high‑availability deployment, and multi‑site high‑availability deployment (two locations, three centers), offering high capacity, high concurrency, and high performance. The product is ideal for OLTP scenarios, information systems with stringent security requirements, and enterprise operational and management information systems. It already provides robust 7×24 support to key customers such as the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, State Grid Corporation of China, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Oil & Gas Pipeline Network Corporation, metro AFC systems, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, and many others.
