Health in China, I Act: GBase Hosts an Employee Health Knowledge Lecture

On September 22, GBase invited an expert lecturer from the Tianjin Office of Safety and Health Education to conduct a special health and first aid lecture entitled “Health Action, Building a Healthy Tianjin” for its employees.
 

The purpose of the lecture was to raise employees’ health awareness, promote healthy lifestyles, build a health mindset, and prevent and control common office ailments and acute or chronic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, helping them maintain physical and mental well-being and a good working state.

Key Topics Covered

  • Routine epidemic prevention and response to public health emergencies;
  • Implementing occupational health protection (neck, shoulder, and lumbar issues, carpal tunnel syndrome, tenosynovitis, and other work-related conditions);
  • Prevention and management of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (hypertension, hyperlipidemia, hyperglycemia, myocardial infarction, cerebral hemorrhage, etc.);
  • Stress relief (developing a positive mindset and promoting mental health), etc.;
  • Healthy lifestyle practices (reducing salt, oil, and sugar; maintaining oral, weight, and bone health), tobacco control and alcohol limitation, infectious disease prevention, etc.

The lecture was rich in content, easy to understand, and closely related to daily life. The attending employees not only gained health knowledge but also strengthened their self-care awareness. At the end of the session, the expert lecturer patiently answered all the questions raised, offering personalized prevention and treatment plans, and everyone expressed that they had benefited greatly.
