GBase 8s Unified Data Platform Monitoring and Operations System
The GBase 8s Unified Data Platform Monitoring and Operations System is a comprehensive system that includes node monitoring, data distribution, trend monitoring, and cluster monitoring management. It meets various user needs for monitoring system resources such as CPU, memory, and disk, as well as for GBase 8s database cluster resource monitoring and operations.
Cluster Unified Monitoring User Guide
[User Login]
Enter the unified monitoring website address in the browser, such as: http://[ip]:[port]/gcmonitor, to access the user login page, as shown below:

After entering the username and password (default: admin/admin), press Enter or click the "Login" button. The system will verify the credentials. If the username and password are correct, you will enter the unified monitoring main interface; otherwise, an error message will display: Login failed, please check your username and password!

After successfully logging into the monitoring website, you will enter the main interface, as shown below:

The main page displays an overview of all clusters that the current user can view. The figure above shows monitoring for a GBase 8s cluster.
Click a cluster name to go to the cluster supervision main page.

[Cluster Supervision]
The cluster supervision module implements monitoring of all cluster services. Through this module, you can view the current status of all types of servers in the cluster and relevant functions of the cluster database. The functional overview is as follows:
View overall status: cluster mode, status, locks, alarms, node status, session statistics, and disk space usage.
Cluster server topology display: including node status, alarm severity levels, and detailed monitoring metrics for individual servers.
Cluster session information: you can view session details for a specified node, terminate sessions, view SQL execution plans, etc.
View SQL logs: historical log information during cluster operation.
System logs: various types of log information generated during cluster operation, with configurable log types.
Cluster process control: start/stop specified processes; processes are configurable.
Alarm information: periodically fetch alarm information; users can view historical alarm information.
Cluster database monitoring: database list, table information for specified databases, columns, indexes, and data distribution status for databases and tables respectively. All this information can be queried using conditions.
Resource statistics: view performance of all nodes in the cluster regarding disk, network, CPU, etc., as well as cluster data volume, DDL, DML, DQL execution counts, and more.

[GBase 8s Cluster Display]
Click the name of an 8s cluster on the cluster supervision main page to enter the node summary information interface for that cluster. The left side displays the GBase 8s cluster node monitoring navigation bar, and the interface is shown below:

Node Summary Information
In the GBase 8s cluster node monitoring navigation bar, click Node Summary Information to enter the node summary information interface.
This interface includes three parts: node summary information, trend charts, and the Top Busy Session list.
Clicking anywhere on the trend chart displays a vertical line, and a list shows the values of each trend metric corresponding to that vertical line and point in time.
Clicking the alarm count for a specific severity level on the interface will navigate to the corresponding alarm information interface.

Start/Stop Database Instance
On the node summary information interface, you can start or stop the node. Click "Stop" to bring up the "Confirm Stop" dialog, then click "OK" to stop the database instance.
After stopping successfully, the instance status on the page shows "Stopped", as shown below:
To start the database instance, click "Start". A "Confirm Start" dialog appears:
Click "OK" to start the database instance. Once started successfully, the node summary information interface displays as follows:
Operating System Monitoring
In the GBase 8s cluster node monitoring navigation bar, click Operating System Monitoring to enter the operating system monitoring interface.
Operating system monitoring includes system summary information, CPU overview, CPU load, CPU bottleneck, disk overview, disk load, disk bottleneck, memory overview, memory load, and memory bottleneck monitoring. The interface is shown below:
System Summary Information
In the GBase 8s cluster node monitoring navigation bar, click System Summary Information under Operating System Monitoring to enter the system summary information monitoring interface.
This interface includes three parts: system summary trend charts, process list information, and OS statistics.
The trend chart interface is displayed as follows:
The process list shows current processes in the operating system and related information. The list is sorted in descending order by current CPU usage and displays only the top 20 processes. The interface is displayed as follows:
CPU Overview
In the GBase 8s cluster node monitoring navigation bar, click CPU Overview under Operating System Monitoring to enter the CPU overview monitoring interface.
