On September 15, 2023, the Kunpeng Application Innovation Contest 2023 Tianjin Division Final concluded successfully at the Tianjin Kunpeng Ecosystem Innovation Center. After fierce competition among 30 finalist teams, GBase 8c's "Database Appliance Based on Full-Stack Kunpeng Technology" won the first prize at the Kunpeng Application Innovation Contest Tianjin Division, with its solution innovation, technology leadership, commercial prospects, and social value unanimously recognized by the professional judging panel.

Themed "Kunpeng in Tianjin: Thriving Together", this year's contest was guided by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and co-hosted by the Tianjin Binhai Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone Administrative Committee and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Since opening registration in May, it attracted 45 teams and over 150 developers. The contest invited industry experts and senior Huawei Kunpeng evangelists to form a professional judging panel, which rigorously evaluated entries on four dimensions: innovation, technology leadership, commercial prospects, and social value. Two winning teams were selected from each of the two tracks—"Kunpeng-Native Application Innovation" and "Kunpeng Appliance Solution Innovation"—to represent Tianjin in the Kunpeng Application Innovation Contest 2023 National Semifinals.
