GBase Database Tops Two IT Application Innovation Benchmark Lists at the 2024 World Computing Conference

At the 2024 World Computing Conference, the Fifth Electronics Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) officially released the results of the "2024 Database Product Performance Testing Ranking" it organized. GBase database delivered outstanding scores of 1,225,975 on OLAP-H and 18,981,918 on OLAP-DS in a multi-node, 3,000 GB dataset environment, ranking first on both IT Application Innovation (ITAI) benchmark lists and underscoring GBase’s maturity and competitiveness at the 2024 World Computing Conference.

Performance Leadership – Sustaining Long-Term Competitiveness

This evaluation targeted relational and analytical database products, using database performance benchmark tools (GCBS-OLTP|C, GCBS-OLTP|E, GCBS-OLAP|H, GCBS-0LAP|DS). Tests were conducted on a unified environment provided by the organizer, and results were published on the IT Application Innovation (ITAI) rankings website after confirmation by the organizer and participating vendors.

GBase database demonstrated exceptional performance on the two decision-support benchmarks (OLAP-H and 0LAP-DS) for analytical databases, confirming its industry-leading maturity and competitiveness.

Previously, GBase database scored 8,944,478 on a TPC-DS benchmark using an 8-node server, ranking third. In this DS evaluation, GBase achieved a total score of 18,981,918 on a 3,000 GB dataset with only 4 servers, ranking #1 among all participating products. Overall performance more than doubled, and per-node performance was 4.24 times that of the previous test.
