On October 30, the GBASE Database National Tour – Jinan Stop successfully concluded. As a key stop in East China, the event attracted over 150 customer representatives from critical sectors such as government, telecommunications, finance, healthcare, and energy. The conference also brought together multiple companies from foundational software and hardware fields including databases, chips, operating systems, and cloud platforms, engaging in in-depth discussions centered on digital transformation.

Co-hosted by GBASE and Digital China, the conference focused on the IT ecosystem in East China, joining hands with several leading regional enterprises to engage in in-depth discussions with a wide range of customers, channel partners, platform providers, and collaborators. The event showcased the current development of databases, operating systems, data-cloud convergence platforms, cloud computing engines, and IT support services—the foundational pillars of the information industry—exchanging achievements in industry chain collaboration and strengthening data foundations to build a solid industrial bedrock.

At the beginning of the conference, Ding Mingfeng, Chairman of GBASE, and Yang Yang, General Manager of GBASE's East China Marketing Department, delivered opening remarks. They extended a warm welcome and gratitude to all guests and partners, looked ahead to the future trends of the IT Application Innovation sector, and expressed a shared vision of collaborating for mutual success.

Ding Mingfeng, Chairman of GBASE, stated in his address that Shandong, as a major economic province, is at a critical stage of digital transformation. Currently, the IT Application Innovation industry has entered a deeper phase, and domestic databases face three core challenges: seamless migration, stable operation, and ecosystem development.

In response to these challenges, GBASE remains committed to building a product matrix centered on real user scenarios and driving industry development through ecosystem collaboration. He expressed the hope that this event would serve as an opportunity to deepen cooperation with partners across East China and jointly reinforce the foundation of digital transformation.

Yang Yang, General Manager of GBASE's East China Marketing Department, said in his address that Jinan was chosen as a key stop of the National Tour due to Shandong's vast arena for digital transformation as a major economic and populous province. We are now in a crucial period of fully advancing the IT Application Innovation strategy, and domestic databases face core challenges in seamless migration, stable operation, and ecosystem maturity.

To address this, GBASE adheres to a user-driven approach, creating a 'scenario-based product matrix' that now serves over a hundred industries including finance, government, and telecommunications. He emphasized that the development of domestic foundational software and hardware depends on ecosystem collaboration, and expressed the hope to deeply engage with local partners, focusing on pain points in government, finance, healthcare, and manufacturing to carry out joint research and development, thereby transforming full-stack synergy into a solid foundation for Shandong's digital economy.

During the keynote sharing session, Wang Huijun, Shandong Technical Director of GBASE's East China Marketing Department, delivered a presentation titled 'GBASE Domestic Database Applications and Practices'.

He systematically elaborated on the historical background and policies of the IT Application Innovation industry, analyzed the core challenges of domestic databases in technology selection and scenario adaptation, and explained how GBASE's full-stack domestic database solutions—centered on its three products: GBase 8a, GBase 8s, and GBase 8c—address these difficulties and challenges. In addition, drawing on successful nationwide implementation experiences, he offered an outlook on future development trends in Shandong province for key industries such as finance, government, and education, as well as critical technologies including real-time data warehousing, data warehouse integration, and database AI.

Zhang Xuhui, Senior Engineer at Digital China, gave a presentation titled 'Unlocking the Code of AI Scenarios, Activating Industry Innovation Capabilities'.

He systematically reviewed Digital China's development history, core strategies, and AI innovation practices, and introduced the company's deep expertise and industry influence in IT distribution, smart cities, and digital transformation. He analyzed in depth the multidimensional challenges enterprises face in implementing Gen-AI, including technology, management, and business aspects, and proposed a full-process, all-element AI implementation methodology. He spotlighted the 'Digital China Wenshuo' platform's full-stack capabilities across computing power, models, data, and applications, and its innovative applications in typical scenarios such as real estate, manufacturing, and finance. Finally, he envisioned the prospects of AI-driven industry transformation, emphasizing that Digital China will continue to empower enterprises' digital and intelligent upgrades.

Chen Jian, Technology Director and Deputy General Manager of Domestic Business Division at ZStack, gave a presentation titled 'Evolution and Practices of IT Application Innovation Cloud Platform Construction under the IT Application Innovation Initiative'.

He pointed out that the IT Application Innovation cloud platform has evolved from early virtualization replacement to a high-quality development phase characterized by 'stability, reliability, efficient adaptation, and flexible scalability,' and provided an in-depth analysis of the real-world challenges in smoothly migrating legacy platforms, maintaining compatibility with 'one cloud, multiple chips' architecture, and supporting core business and AI applications. Drawing on the technical practice of ZStack's IT Application Innovation cloud platform with 'one cloud, multiple chips,' he shared how it deeply integrates mainstream chips such as Kunpeng, Hygon, and Phytium to achieve a diverse and fusion ecosystem, thereby providing efficient and reliable cloud infrastructure support for digital transformation.

Li Daoquan, Deputy Manager of Northern Presales Support Department at Kylinsoft, delivered a presentation titled 'Innovation and Evolution, Strengthening Foundations and Forging the Soul'.

In his speech, he mentioned that CPU, operating system, and database are the foundation of the entire IT Application Innovation industry; without their security and controllability, the IT Application Innovation industry would be like water without a source or a tree without roots. Therefore, the core of the IT Application Innovation industry is to build a secure, independent, and advanced ecosystem centered on CPU, operating system, and database. Among them, the domestic operating system serves as the 'soul of IT Application Innovation,' playing a critical bridging role in IT localization, connecting the upper-layer software ecosystem with underlying hardware resources. He stated that at this event, Kylinsoft would share and report on various aspects including the development history, technical evolution, ecosystem growth, and AI integration of domestic operating systems, telling the story of how Kylinsoft has spent 40 years forging a pillar of national strength. In the future, Kylinsoft is willing to join hands with all parties to reinforce the foundation of a digital China and continuously drive domestic operating systems to new heights through the power of innovation.
