Testimonials from Previous Participants

Jiangsu Mobile IT Product Manager: The instructor's lectures were like a feast, beautifully presented. It truly was a case of "listening to your insights is better than ten years of reading." The instructor shared his experience unreservedly, explaining profound concepts in simple terms — simply brilliant.

China Mobile Online O&M Supervisor: Like most DBAs, I started with Oracle and switched to MySQL midway. This was my first time learning a PostgreSQL-like database, GBase 8c. After two weeks of intensive exposure, I personally believe that GBase 8c is no less capable than similar products and even surpasses them in some aspects. GBASE's efforts to promote product knowledge are also outstanding among enterprises, which has boosted my confidence in Chinese databases. I also want to thank all the instructors and fellow learners in the group; in such a harmonious atmosphere, we all improved our skills. It felt great!

Neusoft Data Architect: The GBase 8c training course was very rewarding. I gained knowledge of 8c's basic principles, features, and usage, laying a foundation for further in-depth applications of distributed databases. This course is worth recommending. Thank you to GBASE for providing this training.

Beijing Haitian Qidian Senior DBA: In the blink of an eye, I've passed the 8s, 8a, and 8c exams and been selected as an outstanding student each time. Through this 8c learning experience, I feel the GBase database products are really excellent. Different requirements have different deployment solutions, which are very flexible and powerful. The pre-installation preparation for the 8c cluster reminded me of setting up an Oracle cluster (both require meticulous preparation for a smooth installation). To learn 8c well, watch the videos, review the courseware, and practice the questions. Finally, let me say: Thank you to the GBASE instructors. Only our serious attitude can truly match your hard work!

Beijing Yusys Technologies Software Engineer: Thank you GBASE for providing this free learning platform. During the 14-day study, I was introduced to a Chinese distributed database for the first time. The course started from setting up the environment and basic theoretical knowledge, combined with hands-on tutorials, which was very beginner-friendly. When I encountered problems during setup, the instructor was patient in helping solve them. Database localization is an unstoppable trend, and I believe this learning will help my future career. I recommend everyone to learn about it. I hope Chinese databases will get better and better!
