GBASE × HIGON Information × Yiri Technology: Full-Stack Localized Solution for the Mining Industry

Recently, GBASE (General Data Technology Co., Ltd.), together with HIGON Information and Yiri Technology, developed a full-stack domestically sourced joint solution for the mining industry — building a unified, secure, and controllable data foundation for mission-critical mining systems.

The mining industry is currently driven by two parallel policy mandates: intelligent upgrade and domestic technology substitution. China's Ministry of Emergency Management has issued mandatory workplace safety standards requiring technical upgrades and multi-system integration for underground coal mine personnel positioning systems. At the same time, China's IT application innovation strategy explicitly requires state-owned enterprises to accelerate the localization of their information systems. Together, these policies make data foundation upgrades for core mining systems a compliance-driven imperative.

In response to these policy drivers and industry needs, GBASE, HIGON Information, and Yiri Technology have officially released a full-stack domestically sourced joint solution for the mining industry.

The solution is built on a core architecture of "precision positioning + domestic database + domestic CPU," with each partner contributing distinct strengths:

Yiri Technology: Provides UWB (Ultra-Wideband)-based underground personnel precision positioning, auxiliary transportation management, and safety monitoring systems. Yiri Technology is the second drafting unit of China's General Technical Conditions for Underground Coal Mine Personnel Positioning Systems (AQ 1119-2023) standard. Its R&D achievements have received the National Technology Invention Award (Second Class), and the company holds nearly 200 patents and copyrights.

GBASE: Provides the GBase 8c high-performance database. GBase 8c is a next-generation AI-native distributed database with multi-model, multi-form capabilities, supporting dual-machine hot standby and distributed deployment with up to 99.999% availability. It is compatible with multiple syntax modes including Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server, and includes DMT migration tools to help customers rapidly complete heterogeneous database migrations.

HIGON Information: Provides C86 series domestic processors, compatible with the x86 ecosystem, with built-in national cryptographic security processors supporting trusted boot and multiple vulnerability defense technologies — delivering reliable compute power and hardware-accelerated security for the full stack.

Currently, this joint solution has been deployed at a domestic mining group, meeting the general technical conditions for underground coal mine personnel positioning systems while fulfilling domestic IT infrastructure requirements. All three partners have completed joint compatibility testing and certification, meeting general compatibility requirements and ensuring stable, high-performance operation in customers' mission-critical applications.
