High Scalability: GBase 8a MPP’s scale-out architecture builds a distributed computing and storage platform, integrating and consolidating diverse data sources from the B domain to deliver a powerful, extensible shared platform for vendors and city-level applications.

High Integration: BDI’s unified ETL platform and GBase 8a MPP database capabilities are combined to enable a hybrid processing model spanning the MPP database and Hadoop, creating a shared environment that covers data collection, transformation, loading, and processing end to end.

High Parallelism: Purpose-built storage mechanisms for big data—columnar storage, intelligent indexes—together with the highly parallel loading power of GBase 8a MPP loaders, deliver near-real-time data ingestion from multiple interface types into the MPP shared data platform.
