Jinhua Bank Data Middle Platform Project

Project Overview

To support Bank of Jinhua’s IT modernization, the data middle platform integrates an MPP database and a big data platform. The project advances the basic software layer of the bank’s IT infrastructure, reinforces the security and controllability of essential applications, establishes a distributed database architecture for the data middle platform, boosts processing performance, and enhances business continuity.

Solutions

The data middle platform is built on the GBase 8a MPP Cluster database, enabling applications such as data querying, marketing analysis, risk monitoring, project monitoring, economic capital management, personal customer information governance, teller workload system, data analysis and mining, and external data management.

Benefits

  • Business Ad-hoc Queries: GBase 8a delivers efficient ad-hoc querying on massive datasets, enabling fast, per-transaction queries on detailed transaction data.

  • High Scalability: The cluster uses a Shared-Nothing architecture, supporting online, on-demand horizontal scaling without service disruption to meet the storage and compute demands of your business systems.

  • High Concurrency: Supports concurrent reads and writes, and querying while data is being loaded. Concurrency performance scales with additional scheduling nodes—cluster concurrency exceeds 1,000.
