[Tianjin High-tech Zone] General Data Technology Co., Ltd., a leading domestic supplier of general basic database software products and solutions, established a Party branch in May 2016 and upgraded to a Party general branch in November 2017. The company currently has 68 Party members, with 2 branches under the general branch, led by the company's technical director Tian Zhimin as the general branch secretary. After years of development, it has analytical databases, high-end transactional databases, secure databases, directory databases, and can provide complete data storage application solutions for customers.

As a software company, with long product development cycles and large investments, facing limited time and energy, high work intensity, GBASE Party general branch emphasizes "practicality," insisting that where the work focus is, the Party building work is carried out, achieving "one branch is a battle fortress." During the pandemic, GBASE Party general branch took the initiative, playing the pioneering and exemplary role of Party member cadres. In pandemic prevention and control work, the Party general branch and company administration, human resources, and other departments jointly established a special group for resumption of work and production, conducting scientific prevention and control for orderly resumption of work and production, and actively taking on daily pandemic prevention and control supervision and inspection work after resumption; at the same time, taking the opportunity to consolidate and expand the achievements of the "Stay true to the original aspiration, keep the mission firmly in mind" theme education, adopting a series of measures to ensure high-efficiency resumption of production, providing high-quality products to assist pandemic prevention and control. For example, the 12306 ticket system team and pandemic analysis technology team, supported by GBase 8a mpp database, developed various query tools that can query results in milliseconds, greatly reducing the time for tracing close contacts.

Recently, GBASE reached a cooperation with Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd., deploying GBASE database product GBase 8a on Tencent private cloud, jointly promoting the application of Tencent Cloud TADB joint solution. GBASE will provide product support, service support, and supporting services based on the TADB joint solution to specific customers or projects of Tencent Cloud, supporting pre-sales technical support, project implementation, and after-sales operation and maintenance services for the joint solution.
