Published on 2020-08-21

From October 31 to November 2, the 2018 Confidentiality Technology Exchange Conference and Product Expo was held at the Qingdao International Expo Center. GBase made an appearance at the event and showcased its self-developed database products.

Hosted by the China Confidentiality Association, the large-scale conference attracted over 20,000 participants from across the nation, including confidentiality professionals and personnel from the confidentiality technology industry.

Chen Shiju, Deputy Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and Deputy Director of the Central Confidentiality Commission, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Tian Jing, Director of the National Administration of State Secrets Protection, and Meng Fanli, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Mayor of Qingdao, gave opening addresses.

In his speech, Tian Jing pointed out that since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has attached great importance to confidentiality work, and all relevant parties have strongly supported its development. An enterprise-led, market-oriented confidentiality technology innovation system integrating government, industry, academia, research, and application has taken initial shape, yielding fruitful results in confidentiality technology development.

The GBase 8s secure database showcased by GBase at this event is a product of extensive collaboration among industry, academia, and research. Having been rigorously tested by numerous users, it has truly matured into a reliable secure database.
