GBase Shines at Big Data Expo (Part 2): General Data Technology Attends 'Innovative Big Data City Operations' Forum
On May 26, the 'Innovative Big Data City Operations Forum' was held at the Big Data Expo. General Data Technology was invited to attend and, during a roundtable discussion, explored the topic of 'Building an Urban Big Data Ecosystem' with other participants.
Du Guowang, Vice President and General Manager of the Channel Department at General Data Technology, said: "Urban big data includes both government management data and commercial data. As data volumes grow, the value of data becomes increasingly prominent, and the integration and interaction of these two types will be the future trend. Only in this way can we provide more accurate decision-making basis for city operations. General Data Technology will provide the best China-developed database in the construction process of urban big data."
GBase's big data solution from General Data Technology empowers city data operations and has been validated in multiple cities. For example, the Tianjin Smart Heping Data Center project, which serves as a smart city application demonstration supported by cloud architecture, has enabled the sharing, exchange and integration of district-wide population-related government data resources, providing information resource services for scientific decision-making. Another example is the Hangzhou Traffic Management Command Platform project, where the data warehouse supports massive data, analyzes and mines data value to improve the utilization of transportation facilities, enhance traffic management levels, and improve traffic safety.
