General Data Technology Showcases GBase Database Series at Inspur Power Systems Customer Conference
On June 25, the 2021 Inspur Power Systems Customer Conference themed "New Landscape, New Core, New Power" was held in Shanghai. At the conference, Inspur Power Systems officially launched its new K1 Power product line for mission-critical computing, while focusing on the domestically-developed high-end server ecosystem, and jointly released 48 certified solutions with multiple partners. General Data Technology was invited to attend and announced the joint solution combining the GBase 8s transactional database with Inspur servers.

In the core business and innovative application sub-forum, Zhao Wei, Senior Vice President of General Data Technology, delivered an online presentation on the "GBase 8s Transactional Database and Inspur Server Joint Solution." Zhao Wei stated: The Inspur K1 Power server hardware platform is China's leading high-reliability server platform, with advantages such as single-core multi-threading, high processor bandwidth, and large L3 cache that are well-suited for transactional database processing in critical information systems. The combination of General Data Technology's financial-grade transactional database GBase 8s and Inspur's latest K1 Power servers can deliver a result greater than the sum of its parts. The joint solution based on the Inspur Power System hardware platform and GBase 8s enterprise transactional database provides better all-China-made software and hardware support for key industries such as finance, telecom, and transportation.
During the flash talk session in the exhibition area, Wei Wei, Technical Director of the Ecosystem Cooperation Department, also provided an interpretation of the relevant solution, attracting many partners. At the same time, General Data Technology showcased its core products, the distributed analytical database GBase 8a and the secure transactional database GBase 8s, at the conference, drawing interest from numerous ISVs and upstream and downstream partners.
In May 2021, the secure transactional database GBase 8s V8.8 from General Data Technology successively completed compatibility mutual certification with Inspur K1 Power servers and the K1 Power Linux server series. During the compatibility testing and certification, GBase 8s and Inspur K1 Power servers and K1 Power Linux servers demonstrated excellent compatibility, stability, and security, marking a solid step forward for both parties in technology and the expansion of the domestic ecosystem.
