GBase was invited to the 2021 China IT Application Innovation Industry Development Summit and won the "Annual Best Enterprise Application Award".
Recently, the 2021 "ISIG China Industrial Intelligence Conference" was successfully held in Shanghai in December 2021. With the theme "Boundless Industry · Envisioning the Future," the annual conference featured six industry forums, including the China IT Application Innovation Industry Development Summit, and summits on artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing applications, integrating China's emerging technologies, hot tracks, thematic summits, and innovation achievements showcase in one event. It gathered over a hundred professional guests from academia, industry, technology, and capital, with more than 1,200 attendees. GBase was invited to the China IT Application Innovation Industry Development Summit and, thanks to its extensive large-scale deployment across the '2+8' IT application innovation sectors (government and eight critical industries) and strong market reputation, won the "Annual Best Enterprise Application Award".
The conference was guided by China Electronics Standardization Institute, Suzhou Fintech Association, Government Affairs Informatization Branch of China Computer Users Association, and co-organized by Qi Zhi Future Technology (RPA China, LowCode Era, Xinchuang China), EqualOcean and other organizations. At the IT Application Innovation Industry Development Summit, upstream and downstream software and hardware vendors including UnionTech, Phytium, Weaver, Kingdee, Taiji, EasyStack, Zhongfu Information participated. Wang Jue, Technical Director of GBase's East China Marketing Department, delivered a speech titled "Applications and Practices of Homegrown Databases in IT Application Innovation" at the conference.
Wang Jue started with insights gained from incidents endangering national security in recent years, and detailed the development history of IT Application Innovation and the dynamics and directions of the '2+8' sectors (government and eight critical industries). Combining GBase's practical experience and reflections from actual IT Application Innovation projects, he offered relevant suggestions on the selection and planning for IT application innovation pilot applications. This included a brief analysis of cataloged products within the full-stack independent and controllable product ecosystem (including CPU, operating systems, full machines, middleware, databases, streaming and document layout software and e-signatures, and application products), an estimation method for application computing power crucial to system planning, and a focused analysis on database selection (in terms of computational accuracy, transactional consistency, high availability and disaster recovery mechanisms, business continuity assurance, development language and compatibility, special support for stored procedures and packages, and migration and O&M tools). He also provided analytical suggestions on the overall system migration sequence for the financial industry, and introduced four typical parallel migration models along with their respective advantages and disadvantages.
Wang Jue, together with the attending upstream and downstream hardware and software vendors and guests, conducted an in-depth analysis of the current status of IT Application Innovation in the financial sector, and showcased GBase's core products: the enterprise-class high-performance, high-reliability transactional database GBase 8s, the converged logical data warehouse GBase 8a MPP Cluster, the distributed transactional database GBase 8c, and the directory database GBase 8d. He presented typical cases of these products in IT application innovation areas such as finance, telecom, and government.
As the only independent database vendor in China focused on product R&D that has achieved large-scale deployment in the financial and telecommunications sectors, GBase offers a full portfolio of databases including analytical databases, centralized transactional databases, distributed transactional databases, directory databases, and cloud data warehouses. Serving core business systems across various industries, GBase has deployed over 30,000 nodes and manages more than 300PB of data. In multiple projects, it has broken the monopoly of foreign products, significantly reduced customer construction costs, demonstrated stable and outstanding performance, successfully ensured data security during the process of indigenous substitution, and dispelled customers' doubts about domestic software. As a result, it was awarded the "Annual Best Enterprise Application Award".
