Haihe Laboratory Innovation Consortium Established; GBASE Becomes One of the First Members (IT Application Innovation)
On June 22, the Haihe Laboratory Development Forum and Innovation Consortium Inauguration Conference was held in Tianjin. The first batch of 117 consortium member units includes 13 universities and research institutes, 88 enterprises along the relevant industry chain, 3 financial institutions, and 4 technology innovation service agencies, creating a thriving ecosystem and pooling high-quality resources for the development of Haihe Laboratory. As a leading Chinese database provider, GBASE (General Data Technology Co., Ltd.) became one of the first members of the Innovation Consortium (IT Application Innovation).
Since their inauguration, the five Haihe Laboratories have consistently adhered to the principle of 'application-oriented and industry-targeted' development, aiming to empower the '1+3+4' key industries and 12 key industry chains in Tianjin with technology. They have closely engaged with and served over a hundred enterprises, formed strategic cooperation intentions with a group of industry chain companies, and jointly carried out technological breakthroughs. Among the first batch of 119 approved projects of Haihe Laboratories, over 80% are industry-oriented, supporting the high-quality development of Tianjin’s key industries and the 'Manufacturing-Driven City' initiative.
As one of the first members of the Innovation Consortium (IT Application Innovation), GBASE will consistently leverage its technical strengths, strengthen exchanges, cooperation, and collaborative research with Haihe Laboratory, co-building partners, upstream and downstream enterprises along the relevant industry chain, and financial institutions. It will boost the brand influence of 'Haihe Laboratory', promote breakthroughs in core key technologies in the information sector, and support the improvement of Tianjin's IT application innovation capabilities.
