GBase 8a Successfully Deployed at a City Commercial Bank in Guangdong
GBase database has been successfully deployed for a Guangdong-based city commercial bank’s “New Regulatory Statistics Reporting System” project. The project adopted a fully China-based ecosystem, leveraging GBase’s distributed logical data warehouse GBase 8a as the database foundation to meet the bank’s regulatory reporting needs while marking a major milestone in IT Application Innovation (Xinchuang) and domestic substitution.

GBase 8c Wins Gold Award at Kunpeng Application Innovation Contest
The 2022 Kunpeng Application Innovation Contest National Finals drew to a successful close. The competition featured seven tracks: Digital Government, Technology Finance, Enterprise Digitalization, openEuler, openGauss, HPC, and Startup Applications. GBase 8c, a multi-modal, multi-state distributed database based on openGauss, won the Gold Award in the openGauss track.
GBase Wins “2022 Outstanding Solution for Core Business Systems in the Financial Industry”
On November 3, the “2022 (5th) Industry Informatization Technology Innovation Development Summit,” co-hosted by CCIDnet.com and Digital Economy magazine, was held in Beijing. GBase’s “Core Business System Solution Based on GBase Database” won the “2022 Outstanding Solution for Core Business Systems in the Financial Industry” award. The solution was also selected for the “Financial IT Application Innovation (Xinchuang) Ecosystem Lab – Financial Xinchuang Solutions (First Batch).”

On November 16 and 23, GBase partnered with Weaver and UnionTech to host two online livestream sessions: “GBase & Weaver Let’s Talk!” and “GBase & UnionTech Let’s Talk!”. In November 2022, GBase completed compatibility adaptation and mutual certification for 36 products from over 10 upstream and downstream partners, including Sunyard, Sidi, Kingsware, and Yatuo Information. The certified products covered storage, big data, security products, industry applications, business software, and general software, fully validating GBase’s strong compatibility.

The 8th GBase Training Camp Wraps Up Successfully
The 8th GBase Database Certification Training Course in 2022 was successfully held. The training attracted a total of 673 participants from various industries, with nearly 400 passing the exam to receive GDCA certification, and 18 making the outstanding student list.
