Driving Big Data Strategy into Action: GBase’s Bounden Duty

April 27-28, the 2016 Big Data Industry Summit was held in Beijing, guided by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.

As a co-organizer of the summit and the only database vendor, GBASE actively responded to the call to promote the implementation of the "Action Plan for Promoting Big Data Development", support the implementation of the national big data strategy, and promote exchanges and cooperation in the big data industry.

Database Supports Made in China

In his speech "How Databases Support Made in China 2025", Du Guowang, Vice President and General Manager of the Strategic Marketing Department of GBASE, elaborated on his understanding of the US Industrial Internet, German Industry 4.0, and China Manufacturing 2025, and starting from transactional high-performance databases, embedded databases, and in-memory databases, proposed a complete set of solutions for building the infrastructure layer of China's intelligent manufacturing with databases.

Big Data Talent Training and Certification

GBASE actively undertook the big data talent training and certification work, cooperating with the Data Center Alliance to promote the big data talent, ecosystem cultivation and certification plan. Teacher Shen Liping from the GBASE Training Center conducted a popular science session on "Database Technology and Practice Sharing in the Big Data Field" in an open class, which received unanimous praise.

GBASE has been laying out its big data strategy for many years, creating multiple mature database products, serving big data platforms in various scenarios such as finance, telecommunications, and government, and can meet more complex future business needs such as industrial big data and IoT big data. GBASE will continue to innovate, hoping to provide strong support for China's big data development and industrial transformation and upgrading!
