GBase Online Open Class Sets Sail: Three Initiatives to Overcome the Pandemic Together
As the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, to help partners stay informed about the products and company of General Data Technology (GBase) and accelerate the deployment of domestic databases, in February 2020, General Data Technology (GBase) launched the "GBase Fundamentals Online Training (Live Remote Video)" and "Stand Together and Overcome Difficulties: Big Promotion on Online Certification" events.
At the request of important partners such as Yiqu Network Technology, the first session of the "GBase Fundamentals Online Training" provided comprehensive instruction on the secure database management system GBase 8s, successfully held from February 24 to 28. The number of online registrations and participants exceeded expectations, with over 400 students learning via the live stream.
The training received an enthusiastic response; the participants were highly engaged, actively participating in interactive Q&A during the training. Through the training, everyone deepened their understanding of the domestic secure database management system GBase 8s and successfully passed the assessment quiz.
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, General Data Technology (GBase) also launched the "Stand Together and Overcome Difficulties: Big Promotion on Online Certification" campaign, introducing three initiatives: free GBase 8a and 8s certification textbooks; all GBase online training free of charge, with GBase live/recorded courses available and thematic open classes held irregularly; and a big discount on GBase online certification exam fees.
Meanwhile, General Data Technology opened the online GBase certification exam for the first time. As the wave of indigenous IT adoption gains momentum, General Data Technology's influence as a leading domestic database vendor continues to grow, and the GBase certification is becoming a bonus point in many project bids. For individual database administrators, the GBase certification is relatively scarce and can aid career advancement, serving as a career highlight. Moreover, as General Data Technology expands its own projects, when recruiting outsourcing partners, priority will be given to companies whose technical staff have passed the GBase certification exam.
