Recently, Tianjin General Data Technology Co., Ltd. (GBASE) and Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. have reached a cooperation. GBase 8a database product supports deployment on Tencent Private Cloud, jointly promoting the Tencent Cloud TADB joint solution. This collaboration represents a cooperation between a mature Chinese commercial database vendor and a leading cloud provider to jointly drive the development of the private cloud sector. It also signifies GBASE's proactive strategy to embrace the cloud era, steadily moving into the cloud data service era while driving a new round of performance growth for GBASE in the future.

GBASE Cloud Service Strategy

Over the past three years, cloud computing companies led by Tencent Cloud have developed rapidly, fundamentally disrupting the entire IT industry's structure and business model. For database companies, many users previously procured through system integrators, but now procurement is shifting to a cloud vendor model. The first stage of procurement might involve purchasing a batch of goods, but in the future it may be purchasing services. As can be seen from Amazon's model, the biggest model for cloud computing in the future is services, which is the greatest challenge. This cooperation agreement with Tencent Cloud involves deploying GBASE's self-developed analytical database GBase 8a on Tencent Cloud's IaaS/PaaS layers, forming a joint solution developed to address the specific needs of Tencent Cloud customers, better meeting those needs and jointly promoting the Tencent Cloud TADB joint solution.

After signing the cooperation, GBASE will provide product support, service support, and supporting services based on the TADB joint solution to designated Tencent Cloud customers or projects, supporting pre-sales technical support, project implementation, and post-sales operation and maintenance services for the joint solution. As cloud computing develops on a large scale, it is foreseeable that more users on the Tencent Cloud platform will use GBASE's database products and services through the TADB joint solution, which will also better drive the development of GBASE's existing business.
