GBase 8s passed CAICT's centralized transactional database performance benchmark test
The 15th batch of "Trusted Database" evaluation and assessment by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) has recently concluded successfully. GBase 8s, a shared-storage database cluster from GBASE, has passed the centralized transactional database performance test, demonstrating financial-grade transaction performance, ACID compliance, and high availability.
Products passing the 15th batch of "Trusted Database" evaluation
CAICT's "Trusted Database" evaluation is an authoritative third-party database assessment in China, primarily covering product evaluation and service assessment. It provides a comprehensive examination of a product's foundational capabilities, performance, stability, security, as well as general and specialized service capabilities, serving as a key benchmark for procurement decisions and product standardization.
GBase 8s is a mature and stable shared-storage database cluster independently developed by GBASE, with the company owning full intellectual property rights. The product meets Security Database Level 4 standards (equivalent to B2), supports Chinese national cryptographic algorithms, and is compatible with international database standards and development interfaces including SQL92/99, ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, GCI (OCI/OCCI), and Python. It supports multiple deployment modes such as centralized deployment, shared-storage high-availability deployment, and geo-redundant disaster recovery deployment across three sites, delivering high capacity, high concurrency, and high performance.
GBase 8s is ideal for OLTP scenarios, including mission-critical business systems in sectors such as finance and telecommunications, information systems with stringent security requirements in government, Party, and defense sectors, as well as operational and management information systems for large enterprises. It delivers 24/7 non-stop processing capabilities. Validated by numerous user deployments and projects, GBase 8s can fully replace international mainstream databases to meet user demands. In this evaluation, GBase 8s met the centralized transactional database performance test requirements in terms of core business transaction performance, ACID capabilities, and high availability under financial scenarios.
Passing the 15th batch of CAICT's "Trusted Database" evaluation further validates GBASE's database products in financial-grade transaction capabilities and ultimate stability with high availability. Moving forward, GBASE will continue to focus on core database technologies, continuously enhance product performance, improve service levels, and strive to become the most trusted database product supplier for users.
