Starlight Rewards Those Who Journey: ABC Client Praises GBase

Recently, GBase received a letter of thanks from Agricultural Bank of China. The bank expressed its gratitude to GBase for its rapid response to requirements, swift problem identification and resolution, and efficient and high-quality completion of all work tasks under the severe and complex COVID-19 situation in 2022, and affirmed the GBase team's professionalism and technical expertise.

As a key long-term supported client, Agricultural Bank of China began building and deploying GBase database clusters in 2013. The bank's huge customer base and massive, complex business data posed enormous challenges for the database system construction in the early stage. After numerous discussions and with dedicated R&D resources, we successfully completed the data warehouse build together with the client. This project, with its efficient and advanced construction approach, won the first prize of the People's Bank of China Annual Banking Technology Development Award. Currently, the bank has deployed nearly 100 sets of GBase database clusters, and after the latest round of cluster expansion goes into production, the total deployment will reach 3,000 nodes.

During the product refinement and project construction process, GBase's on-site team played an irreplaceable role. To ensure stable operation, GBase dispatched a technical support team for on-site maintenance, providing services such as regular inspections, maintenance script development, data migration, data center relocation, cluster active-active deployment, disaster recovery planning, performance optimization, and product technology and solution consulting. During special times, the on-site team remained steadfast overnight, responded promptly to customer needs, quickly located and resolved issues, and ensured the stable and efficient operation of the customer's data center production and test environments.

Starlight does not fail the traveler. On the journey of developing homegrown databases, GBase (General Data Technology) has been travelling for two decades. Each letter of thanks from clients is filled with their expectations and also embodies the silent dedication of every GBase team member throughout the project.
