GBASE Once Again Wins the 2022 IT168 Technology Excellence Award

Recently, the results of the "2022 Technology Excellence Award" co-organized by ITPUB, a professional database and architecture technology community in China, and IT168, a vertical IT portal, were officially announced. GBASE (General Data Technology Co., Ltd.)'s shared-storage database cluster GBase 8s once again won the Database Technology Excellence Award for its independent controllability, maturity, and stability.

Evaluation Criteria

The "Technology Excellence Award" is selected jointly by industry CIO/CTO leaders, technical experts, and IT media, with criteria that reflect the voices of users, experts, and media. After rigorous evaluation, each listed enterprise and individual gains varying degrees of brand promotion value. Since its inception in 2004, the award has successfully run for 18 years. The winning enterprises, solutions, products, and individuals not only lead the technology innovation trends of the year but also influence future user procurement trends.

Recognition Once Again

In 2021, GBase 8s stood out among hundreds of database products for OLTP scenarios and won the "2021 Technology Excellence Award." In 2022, GBase 8s database received further recognition: its "Core Business System Solution Based on GBASE Database" was selected for the "Financial IT Application Innovation Ecosystem Laboratory – Financial IT Application Innovation Solutions (First Batch)" and won the "2022 Excellent Solution for Core Business Systems in the Financial Industry" award. It also won the 2022 database framework project of NARI Group, successfully deploying 1,159 database sets; provided high-performance, highly available, and highly stable database services for China Oil & Gas Pipeline Network Corporation (PipeChina), and delivered a domestically developed database deployment mode with active-active SSC shared storage similar to Oracle RAC; assisted in the localization upgrade of the SIS system at Huaneng Shidongkou Power Plant; and participated in the construction of the "two lines, three hubs" project for Shenzhen Metro, covering systems such as automatic fare collection (AFC), rail transit clearing center (ACC), multi-line central computer system (CLC), and internet ticketing management system, among others.
