GBase and Cashway Technology complete compatibility mutual certification

Recently, GBase 8s V8.8, a secure transactional database management system from General Data Technology (GBase), successfully completed compatibility testing and certification with Cashway Technology Co., Ltd. (Cashway)’s CPV Integration Platform (CIS@CPVIntegration) and VTM Manager (VTMManager). After rigorous joint testing, the products adapted seamlessly, demonstrated full mutual compatibility, and ran stably. This successful integration marks the first step in their collaboration and the beginning of their partnership in driving IT application innovation within the banking sector.

The certified CPV Integration Platform (CIS@CPVIntegration) is developed using Cashway’s next-generation Java development platform and adopts a front-end and back-end separation model. The front end is built through configuration-based custom H5 page components, while the back end uses a microservices architecture supporting distributed deployment. It consolidates the traditionally separate ATMC, ATMP, and ATMV systems into a unified deployment, unifying basic data and business functions through microservices.

VTM Manager (VTMManager) is a comprehensive management platform for bank self-service equipment, featuring device monitoring, version management, remote control, fault maintenance, statistical data analysis, and asset management. It helps customers enhance the management of bank self-service devices from three perspectives—monitoring, management, and operations—reducing the management costs arising from the expansion of self-service devices and fully leveraging the role of bank self-service channels.

The certified GBase 8s V8.8 secure database management system is a mature, stable, 100TB-class financial-grade security database with fully independent intellectual property rights. It features high-availability solutions such as shared storage clusters and ultra-long-distance disaster recovery clusters, supporting active-active and three-site disaster recovery deployments. The product meets B2 (GB/T 20273 Level 4) security standards, supports Chinese national cryptographic algorithms, and is compatible with international database standards and interfaces including SQL92/99, ODBC, JDBC, and ADO.NET. GBase 8s is ideal for OLTP scenarios, including mission-critical core business systems in finance and telecom, information systems requiring high security in sectors such as public security, government, and defense, as well as operational and management information systems for large enterprises. It can replace mainstream international databases and shared storage clusters in over 80% of use cases.

After this successful mutual certification, GBase and Cashway can carry out further cooperation in the banking sector, replacing foreign databases amid the drive to replace legacy foreign IT infrastructure (de-IOE). As both are Tianjin-based companies, Cashway’s Executive Vice President Zhang Yunfeng led a team to visit GBase in July this year. This powerful partnership marks the first step in their collaboration.
