In July 2022, GBase’s massively parallel processing analytical database GBase 8a and enterprise transactional database GBase 8s completed compatibility certifications with 12 products from 8 upstream and downstream hardware and software vendors. The certified products span operating systems, storage, development platforms, general-purpose applications, security products, and industry applications. All certifications fully met compatibility requirements with normal functionality, efficient and stable operation, thoroughly validating the robust and stable compatibility capabilities of GBase databases.

GBase 8a is a self-developed, Shared Nothing architecture-based distributed parallel database cluster with high performance, high availability, and high scalability. It provides a cost-effective general-purpose computing platform for ultra-large-scale data management and is widely used to support data warehouse systems, BI systems, and decision support systems. Deployed at scale in industries such as finance, telecommunications, and energy that have massive business data, it delivers outstanding performance in the business analytics and business intelligence market.

In July, GBase 8a MPP Cluster V9 completed compatibility adaptation with xFusion FusionOS 22 operating system, Zhizhenjunzhi Software Development Platform, and SandStone Object Storage software.

GBase 8s is a self-developed enterprise transactional database with independent intellectual property rights. It meets Security Database Level 4 standards (equivalent to CC EAL2), supports national cryptographic algorithms, and complies with international database standards and development interfaces such as SQL92/99, ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, GCI (OCI/OCCI), Python, etc. It supports distributed, centralized, shared-storage high-availability, and two-site three-center high-availability deployments. With high capacity, high concurrency, and high performance, it offers a cost-effective general-purpose computing platform for ultra-large-scale data management, suitable for OLTP scenarios including critical core business systems in finance and telecommunications, as well as information systems with high security requirements in government agencies, Party organizations, and national defense sectors.
