Focusing on Foundational Software, Exploring IT Application Innovation — 'Indigenous Database · IT Application Innovation' Seminar Successfully Held

On August 10, 2022, under the guidance of the Cyberspace Administration of Tianjin, co-hosted by the Tianjin Big Data Association and GBase, the fourth session of the 'Learn and Apply Big Data' series — Tianjin Big Data Entrepreneurs Club event was successfully held at the GBase Tianjin Headquarters. The event centered on the theme 'Focusing on Indigenous Database · IT Application Innovation' and gathered outstanding enterprise representatives from GBase, Inspur, Seeyon, E-Hualu, Asiainfo Security, FiberHome, Jinfang Technology, Zhonghuan System, Delta, Medical Big Data, Haiwang Data, CloudTopCloud, Baichuan Weiye, Jinxinhe, Zhongan Yuntian, Yozosoft, and others.

Prior to the meeting, Chen Mingzhi, General Manager of GBase's North China Business Division, led the enterprise representatives on a tour of the company's exhibition hall, highlighting the company's development history, key cases in critical sectors such as finance and telecommunications, and a series of technical achievements and honors attained over the years.

At the meeting, Chen Mingzhi warmly welcomed the delegation from the Tianjin Big Data Association to GBase and delivered a keynote speech on 'Large-Scale Application of Indigenous Databases in IT Application Innovation.' Specialists focus on specialized work — GBase has been dedicated to databases for 20 years, and continuous persistence and accumulation have established broad market influence for the GBase brand. The independently developed full-stack indigenous database products, including GBase 8a, GBase 8s, and GBase 8c, have achieved large-scale deployment in the financial and telecommunications sectors.

During the special discussion session, participants shared their respective company strengths, service areas, and technology products, engaging in a full exchange of views in a lively atmosphere. IDC (International Data Corporation) predicts that China's relational database software market will reach USD 9.55 billion by 2026.
