Bid Win! GBase 8s Selected for NARI Group's 2022 Database Framework Project
In July 2022, General Data Technology Co., Ltd. (GBase) won the database framework portion of NARI Group Corporation's 2022 application software, domestic operating systems, and database framework construction project. With its self-developed, mature, and stable enterprise-class transactional database GBase 8s, GBase successfully secured a bid for 1,159 units. Going forward, GBase will continue to provide power industry customers with reliable database products and solutions to support the digital and intelligent transformation of the new power system.

Three GBase Solutions Selected for the "Financial IT Application Innovation Ecosystem Lab - First Batch of Financial IT Application Innovation Solutions"
To promote the efficient and orderly implementation of IT application innovation, the Financial IT Application Innovation Ecosystem Lab conducted multiple rounds of review, including preliminary and expert evaluations, to compile a replicable and referenceable "First Batch of Financial IT Application Innovation Solutions List." Three GBase solutions — "Data Warehouse Replacement Solution," "Core Business System Solution Based on GBase Database," and "Big Data Platform Solution" jointly developed with Agricultural Bank of China, Kunpeng, and Kylin — stood out from nearly 600 submissions by over 190 organizations and were successfully selected.
GBase Contributes to 2022 Database Development Research Report and Is Featured in Global Database Industry Map
The "2022 Trusted Database Summit" was recently held in Beijing. With the theme "Building a Trusted Foundation for the Digital Economy," the summit explored key topics in database technology, industry, and ecosystem. During the event, the "Global Database Industry Map (2022)" was officially released, comprehensively showcasing critical sectors, processes, and representative players in the global database industry. GBase was selected as a representative Chinese database vendor. Additionally, the "Database Development Research Report (2022)," which GBase co-authored along with other authoritative reports, garnered widespread industry attention.

ICDIS Database Parameter Tuning Competition Now Open for Registration
Organized by General Data Technology Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Novel Security Intelligence Technologies and Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, the "ICDIS Database Parameter Tuning Competition" is now open for registration. The competition will focus on performance tuning techniques for the open-source MySQL database and for GBase as the database platform. The event runs in conjunction with ICDIS 2022 (The 4th International Conference on Data Intelligence and Security), held in Shenzhen from August 24 to 26.

GBase 8a MPP Completes Deep Adaptation with KylinOS (x86 Edition)
Recently, GBase 8a MPP Cluster database and Kylin Advanced Server Operating System (x86 edition) V10 completed deep adaptation, achieving full compatibility in functionality and performance. The adaptation used Intel Xeon 6330 processors.
Performance testing demonstrates that the combination of GBase 8a and KylinOS delivers performance comparable to that of mainstream foreign databases and operating systems on x86 hardware platforms.

Upskilling Thousands | GBase 8s Database June 2022 University Bootcamp Successfully Concluded
The second "GBase 8s Database June 2022 University Bootcamp," organized by the GBase Training Center, concluded in mid-July. Designed as a professional database training program for university students, the bootcamp combined theory and hands-on practice on Chinese database technology, attracting enthusiastic participation from students mainly from Tianjin University of Science and Technology and Tianjin University Student Software School, among others. Some GBase users also joined, totaling 540 registrants, with university students accounting for over 70%. After two weeks of study, 269 participants passed the exam and earned the GBase 8s Database Administrator certification.
