GBase Joins the Zhongguancun Cloud Computing Industry Alliance

Recently, Tianjin General Data Technology Co., Ltd. (branded as GBase) officially joined the Zhongguancun Cloud Computing Industry Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the “Cloud Alliance”), recognized for its deep specialization and innovation in database technology and outstanding contributions to the cloud computing sector.

Founded in 2010 and originally established in Zhongguancun Software Park, often called “China’s Silicon Valley,” the Zhongguancun Cloud Computing Industry Alliance (also known as the China Cloud Industry Alliance) has spent a decade leveraging its cloud ecosystem aggregation and cluster strengths. By connecting the real-world needs of urban development and enterprise markets, it promotes the integration of member technologies, products, and solutions, creating ecosystem synergies that help unlock market opportunities.

The Cloud Alliance continually expands China’s premier cloud ecosystem. It has formed specialized vertical committees covering health, industry-education integration, industrial digitalization, cloud security, emergency response, and financing; built its own media matrix; initiated and compiled the 2022 China Cloud Ecosystem Blue Book; advanced policy recommendations; and hosted landmark industry events.

Founded in 2004, GBase has always focused on independent innovation, with full control over core technology and underlying source code. It is one of the few independent database vendors in China that concentrates on database product R&D and has achieved large-scale deployments in the financial and telecommunications sectors.
