Market Win | GBase Wins Another Bid from PICC Property and Casualty Company Limited

GBase’s massively parallel distributed database product, GBase 8a MPP Cluster, has won the bid for PICC Property and Casualty Company Limited’s 2022 Basic Software Products and Services Procurement Project – Package 1: MPP-based database software.

This is the third phase of the project since GBase and PICC P&C established cooperation in 2019. The project aims to expand the deployed GBase database clusters to support new data applications in PICC P&C’s big data center and R&D center, migrate existing data warehouse data and application services, and ensure the stability of current data analysis applications running on GBase databases—including big data resource center, auto insurance, customer, and marketing analytics.

After going live, the project will significantly meet the incremental data demands of PICC P&C’s big data center and R&D center, connect data lakes, data warehouses, and various data analytics applications running on GBase databases, and provide stable support for massive data analysis and queries.
