GBase is among the first to pass the 'Secure and Reliable Evaluation'.

On December 26, 2023, the China Information Security Evaluation Center and the National Secrecy Science and Technology Evaluation Center released the 'Announcement of Secure and Reliable Evaluation Results (No. 1 of 2023)'.GBase is among the first to pass the evaluation, achieving the 'Level I' Secure and Reliable rating.

It is reported that the Secure and Reliable Evaluation primarily targets foundational hardware and software products such as databases, operating systems, server CPUs, and computer terminals. By assessing the core technologies, security assurance, and sustainable development of both the products and their development organizations, it evaluates product security and sustainability, delivering a comprehensive and objective measurement of the full lifecycle security and reliability—spanning R&D, manufacturing, supply assurance, and after-sales maintenance.

The evaluation results provide a key reference for users when selecting IT Application Innovation (Xinchuang) products, improving procurement efficiency. Being among the first to pass this evaluation signifies that GBase's independent R&D strengths and product capabilities have gained further recognition from national authoritative institutions.

The GBase 8s, which passed this evaluation, meets the Class 4 security requirements of China's national standards, supports national cryptographic algorithms, and is compatible with international database standards and development interfaces such as SQL92/99, ODBC, JDBC, and ADO.NET. It also supports shared-storage clusters and high-availability deployment across two locations and three data centers. It is ideal for OLTP application scenarios, including mission-critical core business systems in finance and telecom, as well as information systems in sectors with high security demands such as public security, Party and government organizations, national defense, and transportation. It is also suitable for operational and management information systems in large enterprises, enabling the replacement of mainstream international databases and shared-storage clusters.
