The 2024 Guangxi IT Application Innovation Conference and GBase Database China Tour Was Held Grandly

On March 30, 2024, under the theme "Accelerating high-level technological self-reliance and comprehensively enhancing independent innovation capability," the "2024 Guangxi IT Application Innovation Conference and GBase Database China Tour" was successfully held in Nanning, Guangxi. Over 700 participants attended, including officials from autonomous region authorities, industry experts and scholars, enterprise representatives, IT application innovation ecosystem partners, and media journalists.

The conference was hosted by the Guangxi Institute of Electronics and the Guangxi IT Application Innovation Federation, and co-organized by GBase (General Data Technology), together with leading IT application innovation enterprises including Kylinsoft, 360 Digital Security Technology, TongTech, Foxit Kunpeng, and E-Time Information Technology. Over ten companies also exhibited new products on-site. The event aimed to bring together the innovative momentum of key players in the IT application innovation industry chain, share experiences and achievements in IT application innovation implementation, identify the development direction and trends under the new situation, and empower the integrated development of autonomous region-wide IT application innovation promotion and digital transformation across industries.

Yang Lei, President of the Guangxi Institute of Electronics, delivered a speech. He said that since its establishment in 1960, the institute has been committed to promoting the prosperity and development of electronic information science and technology in the autonomous region and to popularizing and advancing electronic information science and technology. The report of the 21st National Congress of the Communist Party of China points out that we must be guided by the strategic needs of the country and resolutely win the battle for core technologies in key fields. To deeply implement the important national strategic decisions on IT application innovation, the Guangxi Institute has focused on the development of the IT application innovation industry. Since the beginning of 2024, it has successively formulated the first association standard, the "Digital Village Construction Standard," established the "Guangxi Institute of Electronics Electronic Information Science and Technology Award," and actively recruited members to focus on the IT application innovation industry, continuously promoting industry development and exchange and cooperation.

Chen Ruowei, President of the Guangxi IT Application Innovation Federation, said in his speech: The autonomous region's Party Committee and government attach great importance to the development of the IT application innovation industry. In recent years, they have issued a series of guiding documents, pointing out the direction and injecting new vitality into the development of the digital economy in the region. Since its establishment in November 2023, the Guangxi IT Application Innovation Federation has always prioritized promoting the high-quality development of the autonomous region's IT application innovation industry, resolutely implementing the national and autonomous region's strategic deployments. Phased results have been achieved, and in the future, the federation will continue to increase exchanges and cooperation with upstream and downstream partners in the IT application innovation industry chain, jointly building an IT application innovation highland that is rooted in Guangxi, oriented to the whole country, and reaches toward ASEAN, expanding the federation's influence and promoting a win-win IT application innovation ecosystem.

He explained that as digitalization rises to a national strategy, it will become the most important development trend in the future. Zhuang Lishen, Senior Pre-sales Expert of Beijing TongTech Co., Ltd., spoke on the theme "Eastern Dream of Independent Innovation, United to Connect the World." He shared that TongTech's independently developed full-stack domestic middleware, as one of the core basic software, serves both the traditional middleware market, keeps pace with industry trends, continuously plans for the integration of new technologies, and, guided by policies, strives to achieve high-quality innovative development and push its products into international markets.

Liu Zhongzheng, Senior Consultant of Foxit Kunpeng (Beijing) Information Technology Co., Ltd., presented on "Foxit Kunpeng Empowering Digitalization, Opening New Intelligent Office Experiences for the Future." Foxit Kunpeng is a founding and core member of the OFD national standard for fixed-layout documents. Its Foxit OFD Office Suite is a professional fixed-layout document processing software that has already been connected with the Guangxi Comprehensive Office System. Foxit Online Document is a cross-platform web-based reading and editing software integrating flow and fixed layout, and its format conversion service supports batch conversion of non-fixed-layout files into fixed-layout files. Liu Jia, Senior Solutions Manager of Beijing E-Time Information Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a keynote titled "Building Application Deepening Substitute Solutions Based on an Integrated IT Application Innovation Platform."
