GBase Phase III Financial IT Application Innovation Outstanding Solution - Clearing Platform Database Solution

Published on 2024-04-09

Recently, the Financial IT Application Innovation Ecosystem Lab officially released《Phase III Financial IT Application Innovation Outstanding Solutions》.GBase, following its selections in Phase I and II, has been included again with four solutions this time, and one was recognized as a Lab-Recommended Solution, once again gaining recognition from authoritative institutions and industry customers. Let's take a look at the Phase III Financial IT Application Innovation Outstanding Solution — GBase Database "Clearing Platform Database Solution"~

Clearing Platform Database Solution

This solution enables the transformation of the clearing platform database, with a smooth overall migration and excellent system compatibility.

Application Scenarios

The solution is applied in the comprehensive application front-end system of a rural commercial bank, and is suitable for intermediate business platforms and other general business systems of banks and financial institutions.

Technology Roadmap

GBase Database + Hygon chip + Kylin operating system

Pain Points Addressed

• High compatibility between GBase database and the original database

Through GBase's SSC shared storage cluster and HAC/RHAC high-availability cluster deployment solutions, the architecture closely aligns with the original database system. The interaction logic between the application system and the database can be fully reused, and comprehensive migration tools and after-sales support ensure the smooth implementation of this transformation.

• The GAPS system needs to process a large volume of business data in the clearing platform daily, requiring the database to run stably under high concurrency

GBase's shared-storage database cluster provides data service support for the GAPS system. The CM connection manager receives query tasks from the system, distributes them to each data node in the SSC cluster for processing, and then returns the query results to the business system through the CM management group, achieving load balancing of database computing resources.

Innovation Demonstration Results

Based on an on-premises deployment model, GBase database was cut over to production in single-track mode in 2023. All services on the original GAPS system continue to run stably, with balanced resource loads across all servers during peak business hours and no single-resource bottlenecks.
