They jointly explored new demands, challenges, and pain points arising from the multi-dimensional integration of urban rail networks, lines, technologies, and talent under the goals of high-quality and sustainable development, and sought new ideas and solutions.

GBase Database Makes Urban Mobility More Efficient and Smarter

In recent years, with the continuous emergence of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and big data, the construction of smart stations in urban rail has become a major industry focus. At the Station Intelligence and Emergency Management Safety Forum of the conference, Ma Huaiqing, Director of the Shenzhen Metro Fully Automatic Operation and Testing Center, shared the innovative practice of GBase database empowering the construction of Shenzhen Metro's smart customer service system during the roundtable dialogue.

In the digital era, data has become the core driving force for smart rail transit. With its high efficiency, stability, and security, the GBase database serves as a robust backbone for Shenzhen Metro's smart customer service system. While processing and analyzing massive amounts of passenger and operational data in real time, it also provides personalized service recommendations and precise operational decision support. Shenzhen Metro has built the data foundation of its smart customer service system on GBase, making rail transit smarter and more accurate, bringing more convenience and delightful surprises to citizens' urban lives.

At the exhibition, GBase showcased multi-scenario rail transit solutions based on GBase database and application cases across various city metro lines. The stable, mature, and integrated solutions along with extensive service experience received unanimous praise from attendees.

Since its application in the rail transit industry in 2016, the GBase database has been deployed in 20+ cities and on 50+ lines, including Shenzhen, Chongqing, Xi'an, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Shenyang, Jinan, Changsha, Hefei, Lanzhou, Hohhot, Kunming, Nanning, Dalian, and Suzhou, supporting major business systems such as AFC (Automatic Fare Collection), Clearing Center, Multi-Line Center, Internet Ticketing System, Integrated Supervisory Control System, and Operations Control Center. It supports the daily travels of tens of millions of passengers, making rail transit—the main artery of urban mobility—more intelligent and efficient.

Looking to the future, GBase will continue to drive technological progress with its innovative capabilities, respond to the new trends and demands of multi-dimensional integration, innovation, and sustainable development in rail transit, and create more advanced, high-quality, and intelligent rail transit solutions, helping to elevate China's urban rail transit industry to new heights.
