GBase Achieves Dual Leadership in Trusted Database, Elected Vice-Chair of the Financial Working Group.

On July 16-17, 2024, the 2024 Trusted Database Development Conference was held in Beijing, where the Database Development Research Report (2024) and China Database Industry Landscape (2024) were officially released. GBASE's three core products and official community were included in the landscape. GBASE was recognized as a “Leader” in centralized transactional and distributed analytical databases, and was elected as a deputy chair unit of the CAICT Database Financial Working Group, once again demonstrating its technological innovation capabilities and industry-leading position.

Over the two-day agenda, it joined leading database companies, experts, and scholars to conduct in-depth exchanges on database technology innovation and industry ecosystem trends around the conference theme of “Independence, Innovation, and Leadership,” explore new prospects and pathways for the development of China's domestic database industry, and contribute one trusted highlight after another.

At the conference, the Database Development Research Report (2024) and China Database Industry Landscape (2024) were officially released. The report provides in-depth research and discussion on database-related industries, technologies, and industry applications, while the landscape aims to comprehensively and objectively present key areas, segments, and representative companies in China's database industry.

In the landscape, GBASE's three core products and official community were selected for mainstream database products and database ecosystem communities, respectively. In the mainstream products segment, GBASE was recognized as a “Leader” in centralized transactional and distributed analytical databases, and a “Competitor” in distributed transactional databases, highlighting the leading market position and competitive strength of GBase databases.

GBASE Becomes a Deputy Chair Unit of the Financial Working Group

Amid the rapid development of artificial intelligence and the market-oriented development of data elements, the financial industry has arrived at a new historical starting point.

To further assess, identify, and study the pain points and solution paths in innovative database applications for financial sectors represented by banking, insurance, and securities, and to build consensus among upstream and downstream participants in the database industry chain, the Database Application Innovation Laboratory plans to establish a financial industry working group and is inviting banks, insurers, securities firms, database vendors, database service providers, ISV service providers, and other organizations to serve as the working group's chair unit, deputy chair units, and first batch of co-building units.

At the conference, the Database Application Innovation Laboratory's “Financial Industry Working Group” was officially established.GBASE became a deputy chair unit of the CAICT Database Financial Working Group, participating in financial database-related standards and the upgrade of key core database applications. Leveraging the large-scale deployment advantages of GBase databases in the financial sector, GBASE will work with working group members to optimize business processes, improve service efficiency, and safeguard data security through new database technologies.

Sharing GBASE Financial Xinchuang Application Practices

At the Financial Industry Database Application Innovation Sub-forum, Zhang Shaoyong, Chief Product Engineer of GBASE, gave a detailed introduction to GBase database application innovation practices in the financial industry.

To date, GBASE's GBase databases have served 150+ financial institutions, covering major state-owned banks, joint-stock banks, city commercial banks, rural credit cooperatives, as well as securities and insurance clients, with 20,000+ database deployments, including more than 10,000 deployments for core business systems and general business systems, managing data volumes exceeding 200PB.

In the financial sector, more than ten GBASE database solutions have been selected for the Financial Xinchuang Ecosystem Laboratory's Financial Xinchuang Excellent Solutions. In addition, GBASE has specifically released the GBase 8a Financial Application Guide to help financial institutions select distributed databases.

Based on fully self-developed and innovative products, GBASE provides solutions for diverse scenarios, including highly consistent business, highly elastic business, DBaaS business, and data warehouse scenarios.
