GBase 8s Selected for the 2023–2024 Excellent Innovative Software Product Promotion Catalog
On December 7, the 2024 Electronic Information Industry Development Conference, themed "New Advantages in Digital Intelligence, New Momentum for New Quality Productivity," was held in Yancheng. At the conference, a series of innovative achievements in the electronic information industry were unveiled, and GBase 8s database was selected for the "2023–2024 Excellent Innovative Software Product Promotion Catalog."
The Electronic Information Industry Development Conference has been held eight times since 2015 and is one of the most important professional events in China's electronic information field. This year's conference was co-hosted by the China Electronic Information Industry Federation and the Yancheng Municipal People's Government, bringing together nearly 400 representatives from relevant units of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, provincial and municipal industry and information technology authorities, industry associations, and enterprises to discuss new trends and developments in the electronic information industry.

Selection in the Catalog: Building Momentum for New Quality Productivity
During the conference, key achievements including the "2023–2024 Excellent Innovative Software Product Promotion Catalog" and "2024 Typical Cases of Quality Improvement in the Electronic Information Industry" were unveiled, and GBase 8s database was honorably included in the Excellent Innovative Software Product Promotion Catalog.
The catalog covers categories such as basic software, industrial software, support software, industry application software, emerging platform software, and information security software. It aims to recognize and promote independently developed, secure and controllable innovative achievements in software, encouraging enterprises to tackle core technologies and build momentum for developing new quality productivity.
GBase 8s is a self-developed, mature, and stable shared-storage database cluster by GBASE. It is among the first to pass the security and reliability assessment of the China Information Security Evaluation Center, holds the CCC certificate, and has obtained EAL4+ security assurance certification, Level 4 of Information Security Protection by the Ministry of Public Security, and certification from the National Administration of State Secrets Protection, meeting the procurement requirements for information security. It complies with GM/T 0028-2014 "Security Technical Requirements for Cryptographic Modules" and has acquired the major qualifications for information security products, making it one of the databases with the highest security level and most comprehensive qualifications in China. It supports international database standards and development interfaces such as SQL92/99, ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, GCI (OCI/OCCI), and Python. It supports centralized deployment, shared-storage high-availability deployment, and two-site/three-center high-availability deployment, featuring high capacity, high concurrency, and high performance.
It is suitable for OLTP application scenarios, including critical core business systems in the financial and telecom industries, information systems with high security requirements in security, Party and government agencies, defense, and other fields, as well as operational and management information systems of large enterprises. It can achieve domestic substitution of international mainstream databases and shared-storage clusters in most scenarios.
