Empowering Civil Affairs Informatization – Selected as a “Digital Innovation Practice Case”
At the conference, CCID Consulting unveiled the results of the Digital Innovation Practice Case selection. The GBase database, thanks to its innovative application in the Ministry of Civil Affairs’ Jinmin Project, was honored as a “2024-2025 Digital Innovation Practice Case.”
The Jinmin Project is a major initiative of the Ministry of Civil Affairs to comprehensively enhance civil affairs informatization and better fulfill civil service functions. With outstanding stability and performance, the GBase database serves as the underlying database for the unified civil affairs information infrastructure, providing fundamental platform support for data storage, online query, data processing, and data reconciliation. Leveraging shared-storage SSC cluster technology, GBase implements a centralized database architecture with decoupled storage and compute, where multiple compute nodes all deliver read and write capabilities and support horizontal scaling. This ensures continuity of basic livelihood services and empowers civil affairs informatization with secure, controllable, stable, and high-speed “data-intelligence wings.”
As a leading database vendor in China, GBase (General Data Technology) will continue to pursue independent innovation in core technologies. Taking this award as a new starting point, we will advance deep integration of databases with artificial intelligence, cloud computing, IoT, and other emerging technologies, collaborate with ecosystem partners across the industry chain, deeply engage in China’s IT application innovation, serve the digital transformation of key industry users, and contribute “data” power to accelerate the building of a Digital China.
