In the refreshing early autumn breeze, the 2025 PT Expo China kicked off at the China National Convention Center in Beijing on September 24. Centered on the theme “New Engines for Digital-Real Integration, New Momentum for an Intelligent Future,” the event showcased the information and communication industry’s latest achievements in driving deep convergence of the digital and real economies and unleashing new productive forces.GBASE showcased its full-stack GBase database products alongside the ICT China (2025) Industry Solution “First‑Class Case” award and won the 2025 PT Expo “Most Popular Brand Award.”
First held in 1990, the PT Expo China has successfully held 32 editions and is a time-honored ICT industry event in China. Over the years, it has grown into one of Asia’s renowned information technology trade fairs with broad influence, widely regarded as a barometer of industry development and a bellwether for technology trends.
At this pivotal moment of change, the digital economy has become the core engine of economic growth. This achievement stems from GBASE’s sustained focus on the telecommunications sector. Its two decades of core database R&D are intertwined with the ICT evolution of China’s telecom industry. Today, GBase databases are deployed in over 60 group headquarters and provincial branches of operators such as China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom, deeply integrated into their BSS (Business Support Systems), OSS (Operations Support Systems), and MSS (Management Support Systems) domains. From making a call, handling a service request, subscribing to a plan, to activating a service, GBase databases support the entire customer journey, strongly underpinning the development of China’s modern mobile communications infrastructure. For China Mobile alone, over 7,000 GBase database nodes have been deployed, managing more than 70 PB of data.
Additionally, during the expo, GBASE won the “First‑Class Case” award of the ICT China (2025) Industry Solution for its innovative practice in managing IT application innovation‑compliant databases on the Hunan Provincial Government Cloud.
