Project Background

Facing systemic challenges in technology, application, engineering, and operation & maintenance for database indigenous replacement, Jilin Mobile's business support system, with its large scale and complex logic, imposed particularly stringent replacement requirements. To address this, China Mobile launched the Database Joint Innovation Project in 2020, aiming to build a proprietary and controllable database product system.GBase 8s was selected as the top choice, and based on the outcomes of this joint innovation, kicked off a large-scale replacement project with Jilin Mobile in 2021.
