[GBase Event] Welcome to the First GBase 8s Database Training of 2022

As spring blossoms, GBase is holding the first 2022 GBase 8s Database Certification Training. We will provide the GBase 8s Express (no license required) edition and 60 free cloud servers for hands-on practice. As always, this certification training is entirely free. Classes start on April 11. Product Introduction

GBase 8s is a mature, stable, shared-storage database cluster independently developed by GBase, with full proprietary intellectual property. The product meets the Security Database Level 4 standard (equivalent to International B2), supports Chinese cryptographic algorithms, and adheres to international database standards and APIs such as SQL92/99, ODBC, JDBC, ADO.NET, GCI (OCI/OCCI), and Python interfaces. It supports centralized deployment, shared-storage high availability deployment, and two-site three-center high availability deployment, featuring high capacity, high concurrency, and high performance.

GBase 8s is ideal for OLTP application scenarios, including core business systems in finance, telecommunications, government, and security industries. In the current era of increasing security demands, GBase 8s has become a leading Chinese database solution for de-IOE initiatives (replacing IBM, Oracle, EMC), capable of replacing Oracle in over 90% of scenarios.

Course Introduction

This course starts from zero basics of GBase 8s, covering its principles, installation and deployment, management and maintenance, and basic SQL development. Through study, participants will be able to quickly deploy a GBase 8s shared-storage database cluster in a Linux environment and master essential GBase 8s operations: installation and deployment, administration, data import/export, backup, and more.

The entire course is divided into a learning phase and an examination phase: 14 days of learning, one mock test, and two certification exam attempts. The course is organized and assessed through an online learning platform. With a scientifically designed schedule, participants can gradually and easily master the fundamentals of Chinese database technology.
