[GBASE Event] Voting Begins for the 1st GBase Technical Article Contest — Cast Your Vote for the Grand Prize Winner!

Hello everyone! The first GBase Technical Article Contest, jointly organized by GBase and the Modb community, has come to an end after more than two months. We truly appreciate all the authors’ enthusiastic participation and our readers’ warm support. We received a total of 65 submissions, and 29 articles passed the initial review. For details on the shortlisted entries, please see our earlier post: Heavyweight | Announcing the Shortlisted Articles of the 1st GBase Technical Article Contest

According to the previously announced selection process, our expert judges evaluated the articles based on quality, reads, likes, and other dimensions. From all shortlisted entries, the judges have selected 10 outstanding articles, which have been reposted on the “GBase” WeChat official account. Starting today, we are launching a public vote for these 10 articles. Based on the final vote counts, we will select the first‑prize, second‑prize, and third‑prize winners, who will receive JD Cards worth RMB 3,000, RMB 1,000, and RMB 500 respectively. Inspired by a discussion on the GBase 8a forum about connecting Node.js to GBase 8a, we tried implementing it in a similar way to MySQL and found that GBase 8a is compatible with MySQL in JS development, making it easier for JS developers to use and develop with GBase 8a.
