[GBASE Event] 2022 Ministry of Education – GBase Industry-University Cooperative Education Project Guide
To thoroughly implement the requirements of the "14th Five-Year Plan for Education Development" and the "Several Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Deepening Industry-Education Integration," fully mobilize the enthusiasm of both universities and enterprises, achieve deep integration of industry, academia, and research, drive higher education talent cultivation reform with the latest demands of industrial and technological development, in accordance with the "Ministry of Education Industry-University Cooperative Education Project Management Measures" (Jiao Gao Ting [2020] No. 1), after enterprise application and deliberation by the expert group of the Industry-University Cooperative Education Project, the May 2022 project guide for industry-university cooperation and collaborative education was formed.
Under the guidance of the Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education, GBASE (General Data Technology) has released project guides for two categories of collaborative education: "Teaching Content and Curriculum System Reform" and "Practice Conditions and Practice Base Construction" for this batch, concentrating high-quality resources from industry-education integrated cities, industries, and enterprises, and planning the construction of digital, high-level, professional, and open industry-education integration curriculum systems and joint talent training bases. Each project is based on GBASE's independently innovated domestic database products and large-scale industry application solutions, combined with the rich research foundations and strong talent cultivation experience of universities, to build curriculum content and talent training models relying on domestic databases, explore the cultivation of a new generation of general and specialized database talents that meet the needs of industries and enterprises, achieve deep integration of industry, academia, and research, and make early arrangements for tackling key core technologies in the fields of big data and cloud computing, thereby promoting the development of the information industry.
Application Method
GBASE (General Data Technology) plans to hold the first batch of project approval review meetings for the Ministry of Education Industry-University Cooperative Education Project in the fourth week of July. A technical expert review panel will be formed to evaluate projects based on research foundation, construction content and implementation plan, feasibility, outcome value, and support measures. The meetings will be conducted via online defense by project leaders. The second batch of project approval review meetings is expected to take place in mid-to-late August.
Interested universities are requested to refer to the "2022 Tianjin General Data Technology Co., Ltd. Ministry of Education Industry-University Cooperative Education Project Application Guide" and submit the application form on the Ministry of Education Industry-University Cooperative Education Project platform (http://cxhz.hep.com.cn/) before July 15. For detailed project information, please refer to the project guide published on the platform (http://cxhz.hep.com.cn/). Universities can organize faculty to register and apply on the platform based on their actual needs.
