Recently, GBASE (General Data Technology Co., Ltd.) and H3C Group, a subsidiary of Unisplendour Corporation, completed joint testing and validation of a solution that combines GBase 8s, GBASE's shared-storage database cluster, with H3C mission-critical servers and all-flash storage. In typical OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) scenarios, the solution delivered performance on par with mainstream international commercial databases running on traditional minicomputer and storage systems, showcasing the practicability of the joint offering and the advanced technical strengths of both parties.

As a widely recognized mission-critical database, GBase 8s meets China\'s highest database security certification Level 4 (equivalent to international B2). It supports international database standards and interfaces such as SQL92/99, ODBC, and JDBC. Multi-read Multi-write

GBase 8s uses the log-based asynchronous tool Enterprise Replication (ER) to copy data between database servers. ER on the source server reads the logical log, stores transactions, and reliably transmits each transaction as replicated data to the target server. Its flexible architecture enables message broadcasting from one source to multiple targets, or message aggregation from multiple sources to one target. Based on actual business structures, it also supports bidirectional data replication among multiple servers, keeping data synchronized in real time across all nodes.

 

Two-Site Three-Center

The primary site deploys an SSC cluster for load balancing, with multiple nodes within the cluster providing read and write services. The intra-city disaster recovery site deploys HAC nodes for hot standby, ensuring rapid failover if the primary site goes down. The remote disaster recovery site deploys RHAC nodes, enabling disaster recovery over thousands of kilometers. All centers are managed centrally through the CM Connection Manager.

Mutually Reinforcing Backup Capabilities: H3C CB7000X, a scale-out backup system, complements the backup capabilities of the GBase8s database. It uses a 4+2 erasure coding scheme that can tolerate the failure of an entire node or two drives simultaneously, delivering higher recoverability. Nodes can be added individually, enabling true pay-as-you-go expansion for greater flexibility. Multi-node concurrent read/write achieves up to 1.8GB/s with 3 nodes, providing higher backup performance.
